Don't know if I like Rodan enough to get a 30cm release of him...I'll have to wait for more photos.

Forgot about Titanosaurus...

Yeah, these are all awesome to look at, but there's only a handful of kaiju I'd pick up a new X Plus figure of. A Showa era Gamera, Barugon and Gyaos. Gabora. Any of the kaiju from The Magic Serpent or the Last Dinosaur and that's it for me. Out of my wish list the only kaiju I can maybe see getting a new figure of is Gabora so I'm more or less out of the X Plus field for a while.

Still...these look awesome :D

Right now, about the closest you will get to a Bandai vinyl of Earthtron...

Image

It is an upcoming candy toy, which is a part of a two figure set to have "gum" as the "candy offering. Will release late March. The accompanying other Ultra figure is Dyna. There are other figures in the candy toy offering in connection with the Saga film and the Killer Beatstar side story, but you can't select what you want specifically. The candy offering is packaged in a random order.

Maybe soon, there will be an Earthtron that is stand alone, and looks better. I am not sure how tall this figure is, but it appears to be articulated at the arms and legs.

I myself might be interested... depends on pricing. I'd only need a complete set, so you'd be free to do whatever with the rest (IF I bought them from you).

Annoying thing is, I can't find a listing or pictures for the entire set.

EDIT: Found it.

Yeah, I think I'm down for a set.

EDIT: And I just noticed this was a double-post, sorry about that guys.

Hoooooooooooooly crap. For Bandai Ultraman vinyls of obscure Heisei characters anyway, this is kind of a big deal. After the glut of movie figures in March, along with Zelganoid, we're getting some more reissues.

- March
- April
- May
- June

Metron might be the "cut in half and resown together" mold from Ultraman Max, or it reuses the other one we've had for years, it's tough to say without pictures. Bogal hasn't been in production for a while, so a release is nice, but...

Alien fricking Slan. Odds are almost none of you own him besides me. Maybe Mike or Godzilla 2000 at most. Alien Slan is from Ultraman Max, a Baltan homage before they decided to use Baltan proper in the series. He is awesome, and more importantly, his mold was a Hyper Hobby magazine exclusive, in a two-pack with Shining If (clear yellow, glittery version of If). This is up there with releasing the Salamandora mold as being a very cool move by Bandai to help collectors out. For a typical alien vinyl, he's a very nice one, and I hope doesn't suffer from being painted like garbage.

Cool man...and Baltan 2...let me know what you want to do. Do you want to buy a set, and for me to just buy a Gomess off of you or what?

I kind of want Slan, too, even though I just watched that particular episode.
