I would ONLY buy a U.S. release of Gorath on DVD if the cover art looked EXACTLY. LIKE. THIS.

My review went live this morning. I'll also reviewing KOTM separately (goes live tomorrow) since its higher compression rate (and lesser film stock) causes some concern:

This is truly a stunning release. From the opening shot of the boat's wake, it's clear what a staggering improvement this is.
I'll add to the packaging debate for the hell of it too. I can't get the disc portion out of the slip case. It's too tightly packed. I don't mind the design and I love the pop-up, but I'd like to get the disc out once in a while too. Bending the slip cover for that purpose, in order to get a grip on it, is not smart design.

Hey, how long is the Burr version of the movie? The booklet says it is 40 minutes less than the Jp version, but that would mean it is only 56 minutes long and I know it was longer than an hour, I just do not remember how long.
