I've known about this film being in developement for several years now but it looks like they're finally getting it off the ground. The first sales art, synopsis, and details have just arrived in from A.F.M.:

The film has now been picked up for distribution by IFC Midnight and will come to theaters and VOD in the US this year. Those details here:
