To be fair, the reviewer is David Colton, founder of the Classic Horror Film Board (now in its 17th Year) — so, he's an extremely knowledgeable genre fan, but he's not a
Hardcore G-Fan. And he doesn't pretend to be. I think that a lot of you are missing the forest for the trees, which is that this is a
positive mainstream article about the original GODZILLA, with quotes from myself, David Kalat, and Mr. Nakajima. Most reviews end up with snide remarks that seem backhanded. This is devoid of that negative attitude. So, give Mr. Colton a break, just because he hasn't seen this movie a kajillion times like you, does not mean that he's (and his article) is without merit. Capiche? Or do I have to break something?
