Guys Chris isn't out for glory he's already done more for this fandom than most of us could dream of. I guess if you guys wheren't to afraid to venture away from MZ you'd see that Chris has done a lot for TK including interviewing the people who made the Pipework's Godzilla games, photographed Nakajima last April with August, and many many other cool things.

And for the record I'm sure if someone stole an image or something from you with out giving you credit you'd be a little upset too.

To be fair, the reviewer is David Colton, founder of the Classic Horror Film Board (now in its 17th Year) â€” so, he's an extremely knowledgeable genre fan, but he's not a Hardcore G-Fan. And he doesn't pretend to be. I think that a lot of you are missing the forest for the trees, which is that this is a positive mainstream article about the original GODZILLA, with quotes from myself, David Kalat, and Mr. Nakajima. Most reviews end up with snide remarks that seem backhanded. This is devoid of that negative attitude. So, give Mr. Colton a break, just because he hasn't seen this movie a kajillion times like you, does not mean that he's (and his article) is without merit. Capiche? Or do I have to break something? :twisted:

Mmm, that aside it is a positive article, I don't want to diminish that. It's awesome they took the time to talk to August and Steve Ryfle, too.

And I guess I totally missed that they were referencing two scenes. That's what I get for reading it at work. :oops:

As for "out of touch," I merely meant that articles looking at the first movie's artistic value with suprise seems kinda behind the times. Like... everybody recognizes the first film's accomplishments by now, right?

But yeah, I ain't gonna knock what in the end is a positive mainstream article, so... yeah. 8-)
