Also being released by Criterion in a few months: Night of the Hunter.

Anyone who has an interest in horror has to see this movie. It's a terrifying childhood nightmare come to life, which makes it perfect viewing for GDT fans.

Finally watched Mimic: The Director's Cut. Still probably GDT's least interesting feature, but now more consistent and more obviously in his style.

I really want The Devil's Backbone on Blu-Ray. I love Pan, but I think I like Backbone just a little bit more

Criterion has secured The Devil's Backbone for a 2013 DVD/Blu-Ray release!

I love this film and may just have to double dip on this (depending on the extras- I'm sure Criterion will give us a new commentary and other new features!)
