Honestly, I think since I've been married (3 and a half years), I've drank "that" much maybe six times.
Once was a bachelor party for my brother in law (I threw up on our limo-bus and told one of my friends to punch me in the face as hard as he could. When I woke up the next morning, I had no idea why my face hurt so bad. It was like Tommy Boy.)
Once was my going away party for leaving Buffalo for Texas (I went trampolining and fell off, somehow not being injured except for ripping my big toenail nearly in half. It hurt to walk for a couple days)
Once was just a random night (I challenged a buddy to a push up contest. The next day, neither one of us knew why our chests were sore).
Once was New Year's Eve (Imagine my surprise at waking up on my living room floor in my dog's bed!)
Once was a wedding for some really good friends from college (Drank till 4 AM, had a flight at 5:30 AM...flying while WASTED...it was the fastest a flight has ever gone for me...got on board, head hit the window, all of a sudden, I'm landing. I'm really not sure how I was allowed to get on the plane)
and then one other is a fudge factor, because I'm sure there's been one other but there were just no crazy stories to come from it.

I don't do heavy-lifting drinking basically ever since leaving college (I think I tried once fairly recently to drink like I used to in college and only succeeded in getting really full and getting a headache), but there's basically always booze in my house, and I probably have between 1 and 6 beers per week (almost always on a Saturday or Sunday).

When I'm not expecting company, I buy expensive microbrews, or just six packs of nicer beer (Sam Adams, St. Pauli Girl, Stella Artois, Golden Monkey, Shiner, etc, etc, etc) and maybe have a glass or two of Johnny Walker or Crown Royal so it's more about the flavor and the taste of what I'm drinking that I like as opposed to the getting drunk.

Lol, interesting stories.

Yeah, I think the most I drink is a beer with some wings or pizza once a week on Sunday.

And I drink a bottle of plum sake to celebrate the end of each school quarter, but that's about it.

Can't sleep again, so I'm trying to make the best of it by watching for the first time in my life. I don't know why I put it off for this long, but I'm really getting a kick out of it so far.

For some fascinating reading, check out Jim Shooter's blog. Here's a few interesting postings to get started with:

--SUPERMAN -- First Marvel Issue!

Back in the 80s Warner Bros. was giving serious thought to shuttering DC comics and licensing several characters to Marvel.
