When news came out that BDT was being considered for the role of villain, it was a no brainer. He's a perfect fit for that character.

I wouldn't mind Khan coming back (redoing space seed), but I think we should have some new sorts of fun before we go to do something like that.

Can someone tell me what the big deal of Kahn is? I hear about how great the second movie is that featured him, but what is it that makes him a good villian? Is it just because he temporarily killed a main cast member? I mean, if that is the case, he cannot be that good since the dude came back.
