Beware!
I JUST got my Mecha Godzilla figure, and when placing the beam accessory in its mouth (I wasn't rough as I kind of had a feeling this might happen), its teeth snapped!

I thought these things were durable, especially on parts designed to hold accessories? Or did I just luck out and got a defected figure?

Hrmm, maybe. I've got a figuart Kamen Rider that has pretty insta-breakable parts.

Guess I won't bother to put my effects parts in, which is fine, because I rarely use that stuff anyhow.

I've not heard of anyone else having the broken teeth problem, however.

As cool as those extra accessories can be, I'd rather not get them, and just stick with the figure, which I'd be happy with as it is. If I want my Godzilla to shoot radioactive flame from his mouth, I'd just draw it in Photoshop, or animate it when I do a video.

Since I can't apply Photoshop to my shelf or desk or wherever my toys are, I'm fine with a plastic representation of some kind, especially of the quality Bandai has been doing lately. Godzilla's beam is still on the weaker end of the spectrum, I'll admit, but having nothing at all would take something unique away from these releases that no prior figure has ever had outside of lame missile gimmicks.

...I got a duplicate MonsterArts again, because Amazon surprised me out of nowhere with a shipment notice, haha. All the same, I still got free two-day shipping, so it arrived Friday afternoon. Got here before my AmiAmi package, too! From now on I'll be sure not to place duplicate orders. :lol:

Anyway, I love Mechagodzilla's breath weapon but not the way it's shaped. Never occurred to me that it could snap the teeth, but then I was originally under the impression it didn't fit inside his mouth at all! I was satisfied with posing it in front of his mouth instead and I think that's how I'll plan to keep mine. On the bright side Legacy_of_Gamera, if yours was a Bluefin purchase as well, an exchange shouldn't be a problem at all if you contact them.
