SpaceGodzilla is easily my least favorite MH figure. The Ghidorah looks fine, but I've just never been that motivated to get it.

Also, technically, they haven't even released a new figure this year, Orga is set for the release at the beginning of 2012 I thought.

I do believe it is. I've seen the Cast name attached to Iwakura products before. These also have the telltale ornament hang tag, hah.

Yes, CAST is the current incarnation of the company that was Iwakura. & they put out some awesome little statues and things. But they're always SO expensive (not to mention hard to find)! I think they use lots of polystone & diecast metal (whereas most of the stuff from when they were Iwakura was plastic). I mean, look at some of the other products from that same blog:

The one place I saw that Fake Godzilla blasting the refinery piece for sale had it at 8500 yen....

If it's something specific you want (like that figure you linked to), I would suggest emailing him before it comes out to see if he can get it for you. It might be something he wasn't necessarily going to stock, but would be able to pick up if he knew someone wanted it. He also seems to sell out of stuff pretty soon after he gets it in, so I don't think he gets large quanities of any particular figure.

I know I'm kind of a stick in the mud for saying this....but the Hesei era Ultra kaiju really don't do much for me...I like the kaiju from Ultra Q through The Return of Ultraman (not a big fan of Ultraseven or it's kaiju, not that there's many of them, but it did bring us Eleking so it gets a pass in my book for that)...after that, they lose me...just personal taste...not a bad looking figure of the kaiju I will say
