FINALLY.

Bought this off Yahoo Japan auctions, using Yokatta as a middleman. They still need the item to arrive at their warehouse for inspection, and then I'll need to pay to have it shipped to me. The grand total will likely be about $100. They bought it for 6,445 yen total, but since the exchange rate is so terrible, that costed me about $85, including PayPal fees.

But whatever, its mine and I cant wait for it to arrive. Not 100% sure which version this is, though.

Got a bunch of stuff these week to add to the ever-growing vinyl Ultra collection...

Image
"89 tag Metron and '94 Neronga...

Image
...these guys...

Image
...and 2000 tag Gamiara and Temperor.

Waiting on a ton of stuff right now including '91 tag figures of Bogun, Crazygon and Mechabaltan, an original release Benzen, SP edition Sadora with extended arms, '94 release Bemular and a great lot from Yahoo Japan of original sculpt Gomora figures that includes two tagged '83 releases, a bagged '86, a tagged '88 from the boxed set and a tagged '89 version.

Can't wait.

I've been looking for a Sadora figure ever since I started collecting Ultramonsters. Unfortunately every standard version I see that pops up on ebay goes for really outrageous prices. I figured I'd get one some day, but also figured an SP extended arm version would be out of the question at prices I'd be willing to pay.

Well I was wrong.

This really is a beautiful figure. Amazing detail and outstanding paint. Now I feel like I NEED the standard version.

More great Ultra figures: 1991-series Crazygon and Mechabaltan and original release Alien Benzen. These all came from the same seller with buy-it-nows at $20 a pop for each. The tags have only the slightest of wear, otherwise the figures are as new as the day they were made. You really can't beat that for $20 a piece.

I'm really behind on this one, but I decided to pick this guy up, as I had recently dusted off my old PS2 games and booted up Ultraman Fighting Evolution Rebirth. Man, EX Redking rocks...

So here he is. $19, brand new.

The size doesnt bother me too much, honestly.

Now some fun.

I can always buy another one and have it modified like some of my friends have done, if I ever feel like it.

Some more figures from this past week...

Image
Powered Gabora, '91 tag Icarus and '91 tag Twin Tail. I wish the Gabora had a tag, but for $20 I'm not going to complain.

Image
Got this lot of Gomora figures from a friend via Yahoo Japan. Two '83 tag versions, a bagged 1986 figure, a tagged 1988 figure from the big box set and a tagged '89 issue.

Image
Now I have every release of this Gomora mold. Very cool.

Man I love my Powered Gabora. One of my favorite figures. It's just a killer sculpt of a killer kaiju re-design
