Not for a moment do I think that Critereon seriously considered canceling their GODZILLA release because of the fans "bellyaching". That must be an exaggeration.

GODZILLA is a historically important film that is more than deserving of the Critereon treatment. I'm sure Critereon's Toho titles sell well enough, which may have had a part in them going to all that trouble to to sub-license GOJIRA/GODZILLA KOTM in the first place. I sincerely doubt a couple of bitchy fans on an internet forum would make them second guess the entire project. I'm sorry, but that has to be a croc of sh*t.

Considering MB deleted somebody off of their official Facebook page for simply asking when they can expect to see the disk in retail is a testament to how lame the people running that page are (No disrespect to those working on these disks, though it's likely they're not even the same person). I mean, seriously? It's not like the guy was like "OMFG, THIS DISK IS SUCH ASS YOU GUYS; YOU SUCK, HEEERP". It wouldn't surprise me if it was true in regards to MB, but Critereon? Nahhh.

As for Mr. Galbraith's reply, it was only his tone that I thought needed some serious work. If anything, I agree with him completely.

For the record there where no talks of a boycott on these discs coming out because Stuart was associated with them.

One person said they'd consider not buying them because he was invovled but decided against it because it was the only legit way to get Megalon.

Then another person suggested he buy a boot and send the money to Toho. As a jest; there was no full scale boycott at all.
