But we've SEEN Baltan TONS of times! Several episodes of the original series, Ultra Fight, Return of Ultraman, Ultraman 80, Ultraman Powered, the Cosmos movies, Ultraman Max, AND Ultra Galaxy Legends. Alien Bat had one episode in 1972. That's it. I'd be fine if it were Baltan but I honestly prefer that they're reviving these more obscure enemies.

While that IS a reasonable point, I still stand by what I said: KEEP BRINGING BACK THE OBSCURE, UNDERUSED ENEMIES, TSUBURAYA!

You know what we need? A movie ballsy enough to bring back monsters like Mochiron from Taro and even Giigon, the violin monster from Ace!

I went on a rant about how Tsuburaya has given a Baltan no proper return in the Showa universe, how he's appeared as nothing but alternate-universe versions and a corpse since 80, and even then I totally disagree. This movie seems about as far removed from Baltan territory as you can get. Bat Seijin called the shots with Zetton before and has been in dire need of a makeover. I have no complaints about him calling all of the shots in Saga.

I agree about Bat calling the shots being a good thing. It is just like when Temperor was revived and updated in design.

I also would like to see the violin kaiju from Ultraman Ace as well updated. :D

Alien Bat(*official name: Alien But) is in human size. He has turned earth into his laboratory of creating massive "Monster Weapons".
Earthrton, Gubila, and Gomess are brought by Alien Bat from Monster Grave.
