Did something I hope I dont regret later.

I cancelled my preorder for the Tamashii Godzilla, and instead, used the money for this.

and now, Biollante

Image

things is huge and can easily draw attention to itself even amongst huge collections due to the sheer amount of volume this will take up no matter the display.

Great detailing and sculpting on the vines/tendrils. Jaw is articulated so in can open and close. Eyes could have better paint but overall quite pleased with this iteration of my second favorite heisei design.

This thing is heavy. I don't actually have the space for this in my studio. I may have to bring it to my parents' apartment.

Can anyone who owns the Revoltech 67 Gamera and Gyaos help a brother out...I'm interested in scaled pics, next to a 6 inch Bandai or something...

Also, I'd like to get some feedback from those who do own these figures? Are they worth it? The 67 Gamera is my favorite Gamera design, and its rare to find a figure of him, but I'm not a huge fan of the super segmented/ articulated look on a lot of Revoltech figures....and the Showa Gyaos, just amazing, I hope the figure in person is every bit as amazing as the kaiju

How is the scale? Are you happy with the figure?

It's smaller than the 6" Bandais. I'm happy with it.

Cool. I'm a little worried about all the articulation, are the points of articulation as noticeable as they seem to be in the official pics? In your picture they don't seem to be that glaring

Ah, here's another photo with the Ultra Act Gomora, which is in the same scale as the Bandai vinyls.

My Gyaos shots:

The articulation is most noticeable in the wings and I do wish it were a little bigger but, God, I'd be lying if I didn't say I love it to death. It helps that it was an anniversary gift from my girlfriend. XD

That's awesome man, I too share your love of Showa Gyaos so I've decided to pick both of em up. Who knows when we will get a detailed 67 Gamera sculpt again, and that Gyaos looks amazing...

Man that Revoltech stuff is small. It's tempting to go all out and buy all the kaiju releases because they look cool, but I don't know if I want to even go down that hole for a bunch of small figures.

That's Silver Surfer. Note the surfboard underneath him. It looks like leunames got the variant Marvel Universe Galactus, since that's the only way I've seen to get a clear Surfer.
