I GOT A GOLD STAR :D

I liked it, though I have to say I haven't been super excited or blown away by a finale since...probably the RTD era stuff. :/ I dunno why, but these have just been fun.

If a movie does get made, I think it should be connected to the show rather than being a seperate entity.

And if Yates is interested in more open waters he could always go with previous Doctors Sylvester McCoy or Paul McGann. Assuming of course that McCoy or McGann would be interested in reprising the role of the Doctor in the first place.

It would be great to see McCoy as the Doctor again, but he could be a bit busy seeing as he's playing Radagast in the upcoming Hobbit movies.

Paul McGann has only done the telemovie leaving a lot of untold stories. Further, with not having a depiction of the 8th Doctor towards his regeneration McGann could take up the role again with no need to explain aging.

{Yes, I know about the various books featuring the 7th and 8th Doctors, but weren't the easiest things to find even when they were in print much less now after being out of print for years. Also, as entertaing as the books can be I view them a secondary to the series proper much like various Star Trek & Star Wars books are to their series/movies.}

Wow, Season 6 has been amazing thus far. In the last day I have watched the Xmas special and the first 8 episodes over the last day and they have been incredible. The twist about who River was was incredible and the "Let's Kill Hitler" episode was genius. However, the entire amassing of the army in the previous episode was also fantastic and pretty badass. I cannot wait to see what is going to happen next. It is a shame that the next season does not start until April, but I may end up just waiting until next Nov for it to hit BD again before I watch it.

So anyone expecting Series 7 to start airing on Easter is going to be dissapointed they annouced last month that the series wouldn't start till the fall. My guess is late August/early September.

It's 14 episodes, all that confirmed so far is that Rory and Amy will be leaving and that the Doctor will get a new companion. Also some classic monsters will make a return and finally Moffat really wants Captain Jack back so we'll probably get an episode or two with him.
