ALPHAS -- anyone else been watching?

Postby The Shadow » Sun Sep 25, 2011 4:17 am

When I first heard about Alphas I didn't pay much attention to it after I learned it was going to be a new series about people with special abilities. I figured it'd be another train wreck like Heroes unfortunately turned out to be.

But, the premier was on the same night as Eureka and Warehouse 13 so I figured I'd give it a shot. Well, it was a welcome suprise that the premiere episode hit the ground running and the show has continued with good episodes ever since. I don't think it's a stretch to say that so far Alphas has proved better than even the first season of Heroes (the best of the show's 4 seasons).

The season finale is Monday night at 10:00 PM Eastern, and SyFy will be running the entire first season leading up to it. The repeat of the pilot begins at 11:30 AM Eastern, with the following episodes beginning on the hour starting at 1:00 PM.

So if you haven't seen the show yet you'll plenty of opportunities to check it out provided you set your DVR.

If you want to see a few episodes now, Hulu has 5 episodes available -- episodes 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
