I put myself through the Lou Reed/Metallica collaboration "Lulu" earlier today (you can hear it on ). I wasn't expecting much, and I didn't get much out of it. There are some decent musical ideas throughout, but it's generally pretty bland. Reed's voice does not help things in the least. There's also a lot of repetition, although that doesn't bother me too much.
