The thing about those quotes is that a lot of what is written are based on facts. Sure J.D. over-praises Mecha-Godzilla II, but vs. Mothra was the most profitable in the series and the anti-American sentiments were controversial at the time. And Kawakita did rack up awards for vs. King Ghidorah, which I agree had really cool effects.

The 2nd pic (the King Ghidorah one) looks good...the 1st and 3rd ones are vomit inducing (is this same artist who insists on putting "quills/feathers" on Godzilla? I seriously wonder why some of these artists actually think stuff like this is a "cool" idea...)
