For designs. Personally, I wouldn't mind if they got ILM to dust off the old 'Godzilla vs. Barkley'suit. Yeah, I know it is about as likely to happen as Peter Jackson finishing 'Gamera vs. Garasharp' but I just think it would be cool. IMO the late 80's-early 90's American renditions of the Godzilla 89' design were the best Godzilla designs out there, even from Toho. Art Adams for example designed THE ideal Godzilla. But back to Godzilla vs. Barkley:





I always loved this suit. The face was sort a Godzilla 84'/89' hybrid and the expressions were great! Screw a new design, dig out an old one!

These are from the same artist who's "bird Godzilla" design keeps getting mistaken as official concept art. IMO this is spot on. I always wanted Godzilla to look a little scared up from the bomb (although that isn't the artist's intent here). I love it, and Legion hates it

I'm not much for all the scars, but I like the way the teeth are done.


One thing I kind of like about the bird Godzilla design are those spine/feather things on his forearms, elbows. I think if you moved them mostly to the back and shortened them, it could be a unique a neat little design idea.

I like the sketch, not the finished version. The scarred look is cool but the smooth skin doesn't look right.
