I'm with Mike on this one, for now. At the $70 pricetag Godzilla would be commanding thanks to the exchange rate, I don't see it happening. If we get a reasonable, or even an unbelievable but super-nice price like under $50, maybe. I'll keep my fingers crossed on the price, but will keep my expectations on any "discount" low.

On the matter of figure size, Godzilla should be about six inches tall, depending on how large Bandai intends to make him. He should be comparable in size and heft to Ultra-Act Gomora, only taller because Godzilla doesn't have a pronounced hunch like the latter. Maybe even as tall as Eleking, which would be quite impressive.

I actually agree with Tim that it's possible we might see these on shelves at brick & mortar Toys R Us's.... I don't know how many of you shop at Toys R Us regularly, but I collect some Star Wars stuff alongside Godzilla & so I do stop by Toys R Us maybe once every month or two on avg. They actually DO cater to adult collectors. They even have an isle that is all more high-end figures aimed specifically at collectors. Now, it's not an isle full of toys priced quite as high as these will be, but there are some (like the Evangelian figures Tim posted) that are quite high. I'm not saying we will see these on shelves, but if the US retail is in the $50ish range, I totally think it's a possiblility.
