Holy Moley! I just watched "Operation:Breakdown" -- that episode had some really creepy moments.

Silas ends the episode by saying that MECH had gathered enough information to start work on Project Chimera -- we might just see a version of the Headmasters in the show.

This weeks episode apparently features Silas as well as Airrachnid. While I'm not as pleased with Silas as some seem to be (I just don't care for human villains) Airrachnid is awesome.

I think part of what people like about Silas, is that he is like what Megatron (and even Starscream) should be.

Silas ordered a conscious Breakdown dismantled alive, and then stuck around to watch. Certainly the same sort of cold, calculating behavior we should expect from the leader of the Decepticons.

One concept I really don't like from the live action movies, and is carried into this series, is that the Autobots and Decepticons can change their alternate mode whenever they want. Worse yet, this alt-mode switching doesn't take much longer than the normal transformation process.

In the original series it took an outside system to change the Cybertronian's alt-mode, in this case Teletraan-1 using the Ark's systems. Beast Wars kept this principal intact when using the stasis pods to scan the surrounding area and determine the alt-mode for the protoform inside.

It just doesn't seem right, according to these rules Bumblebee could scan an M1A1 Abrams when the Autobots needed an extra tank during a battle and then switch to a deuce and a half to transport a bunch of people.

Well I don't think Bumblebee could just become a tank. Airrachnid was the right size for the helicopter..Bumblebee is still smaller. I don't mind it, just because I feel like if it's in their natural biology to transform, they should be able to do it at the drop of a hat and not have to use the stasis pods.

As for the episode, I haven't disliked an Airrachnid episode yet. I feel this was a bit weaker than her debut, but I liked it.

This episode of Prime was realy great, man how i love Starscream in this show, hes such a oppertunist where comes to glory and a coward that its just great to see him in motion. Miko was also awesome in this epsiode, she really showed soem character and jack apprently knows cybertroian tech after only looking at for 5 minutes but whatever.

Great epsiode and really looking forward to the next one, also anyone notice that the animation really improved in this one, Starscream has some really fluid movements.

This episode was great, most of that rests upon how awesome Blum's portrayal of Starscream is. I also love Megatron's look for this. His eyes just scream evil.

As for Jack knowing Cybertronian tech. I think he was just pressing buttons, and that started it. The rest were those giant handles. I'd prefer this to Raf's I CAN HACK EVERYTHING. I really can't wait for Saturday's episode. Though I must say, I'm still craving a Soundwave episode, badly.
