I don't see what the big deal is given they are both from the same director. In fact, The Island is a pretty good movie. It is predictable, but it is a nicely done science fiction action movie.

As for Ebert, "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" him. He doesn't know what a good movies is anymore at all.

I'm sorta with you Ultrazilla,
I won't exactly defend these movies and I'm not a fan of the first two, but I'll admit I was able to turn off my brain during the third movie without my brain actually getting angry at me.

I liked Dark of the Moon. It was enjoyable, the transformers were more central, I could tell what was happening and the word "no" was pulled from Shia's impressive vocabulary.

Totally dug the "Time to find out!" moment from Optimus.
