Bioshock and Teen Titans? Boy, oh boy, where have I been? That should be more than interesting to see.

Anyways, I would prefer them to take their time on Godzilla. It's just if they are pushing for that year, its almost near.

As far as competition is concerned, the only thing that troubles me about this Godzilla film is the fact that they are pushing for 3D or at least promoting it in that sense, and that really scares me. Other than Cameron's AVATAR and maybe Disney's [i]TRON: Legacy[.i], there has yet to be a really successful 3D film...

Calling The Last Airbender a success is like calling Emmerich's Godzilla a success...

I'm not debating PROFITABILITY (and neither was Destroysall's original comment; it clearly says SUCCESS), but I am saying that The Last Airbender and Godzilla 1998 are both utter failures that ruined the careers of their respective driectors and set their individual franchises back for years to come and saying that "it was profitable = it was successful" is not ALWAYS the case.

Of course, it bears mentioning that Godzilla 1998 is the EXCEPTION that proves the rule: Follow the $$$.

I don't think a movie being 3D is a sign it'll suck, lose money or not be successful. 3D is a tool like any other. It can either work for a movie or against it (unless you're Roger Ebert, in which case 3D is always bad).

I did forget about Toy Story 3. However, 3D films rarely make it big. To me, Godzilla in 3D would be a hard watch. IMAX would be okay. Wouldn't mind that, but not 3D.
