knowing that we'll be getting a CGI-zilla, we don't really have to worry about miniature sizing...

I know it'll be CGI, but using miniatures is not out of the question. Depending on what you're doing, they can blend CGI with miniatures if it works well. Even GINO and Independence Day had miniatures.

I am not a fan of the Always 2 design at all. The sequence is cool and really well-shot but the Godzilla design is just awful.

Also, I know that particular design was based on the GMK Godzilla, but between Always 2 and the IDW comic book I hope the dead-white eyes aren't going to become a standard feature for Godzilla in the future, and I really hope his eyes aren't done like that in the Legendary film. One of the things that made the pupilless eyes work so well in GMK was the fact that they were unique compared to other Godzilla designs. If they keep reusing them for different incarnations they're going to get really old really fast.

just as long as Godzilla doesn't look like he's stoned...

the 1985 suit looks good sometimes, and HORRIBLE on other occasions...too much white under the irises...
