This was the first comic.. I'd rather see Godzilla in the 22 pages instead of nothing. I'm sure some sort of story will develop as the comic progresses

Just curious, but did anyone order this through IDW's website? If so, what cover did they send you? Here is the cover they sent me:

:-\ Meh. I was really surprised I got this cover sent to me...this is probably my least favorite variation of all the covers (Although I really dig Powell's cover for issue 2, his take on Godzilla and his kaiju friends with this cover just plain sucks)...I was really hoping to get the Alex Ross (or the "Eye") cover instead. Oh well, it suits the lackluster first issue's story I suppose...

^It doesn't look too spectacular that way - but the fold out with the other monsters made it the one I wanted (and got).

I was going to get "The Eye" but it turns out that one was hella expensive - $13! So I'm doing the wrap-around.
