I just read Flash for Freedom!, the third book in the legendary Flashman series of novels, and then Congressman Lincoln is a major character. George MacDonald Fraser, the writer, is a huge history buff who puts in a ton of effort in his historical novels so that his charcter, Flashman, is often the only fictional thing in what was a real situation. I wonder if Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will be as much a stickler for historical detail? I'm a sucker for the "mostly true but with this slight fictional thing that wasn't recorded in the history books" approach.
