Like I said, the Stan Winston design was pretty good. Even though he nixed the tree bark style skin in favor of a more natural scaled texture, that was still recognizably and definitely Godzilla.



It's a shame we never got to see this one in action. Although it might have benefited from darker colors.

The sea rose as a wall of sharp spines sliced thru the surface. The water boiled and churned as fish of all species floated on their sides, dead. Godzilla, the demon god had emerged.
