Here's a novel idea: the Adam West Batman, the Burton films, the '90s animated series and the Nolan films are all good for different reasons. The Schumacher films and The Batman series are garbage.

Forever is good because of the actors. Val Kilmer pulled off a fantastic Wayne, he just needed work on Batman. Tommy Lee Jones pulled off Two-Face perfectly since it felt like they were trying ot make Two-Face be like Joker. It was an insult to Two-Face, but like I said, at least Tommy Lee made it work. Lastly, Jim Carrey was just perfect for the Riddler. For the actors at that time, he was the only one that could do that character justice. On the other hand though, the one liners, the dialog, and Nicole Kidman were all terrible.

So, for those of you have been following this, it appears the story for The Dark Knight Rises is – oh wait...SPOILERS!!!!!!!!
