A spiky Godzilla won't make or break the film for me, but I'd still prefer if they went in the direction that the t-shirt design did. I know it's only promotional material, but that's the kind of Godzilla I'd like to see in Legendary's movie. A Godzilla that can look dangerous and imposing without the edgy look that seems to take the unnecessary extra mile to make him more hardcore than he needs to be. A Godzilla that's recognizable as Godzilla without having to directly copy any incarnation of the Toho Godzilla. It's not a perfect design by any means, but I haven't seen a piece of fan art or a model that I'd prefer over it.
