I can't think of a whole lot of indies these days that cost less than $1 million. Even Reservoir Dogs cost over a million to make.

Saw "Monsters" tonight and can say without doubt there is absolutely no cause for concern regarding Mr. Edward's talents. Godzilla IS in good hands.

Watched MONSTERS today. Pretty damn good; I think Edwards is a great choice. I'm really curious to see what he's going to do with our beloved Goji. Of course, there's still the worry of the story itself, and how Godzilla is going to be portrayed. But I think Legendary will at least do a far better job than Sony did.

I'm sad that The Tourist turned out to be such a mess because Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck's first film, The Lives of Others, is a masterpiece - maybe the best film of the last decade.
