Had to check another post -- I've been a member for 6 years now.

Although I believe I had signed up a few years prior (perhaps around 1999 or 2000, not sure exactly). At least I'm pretty sure it was at Monster Zero -- the forum software was different or looked different anyways. Offhand I remember a there being a bigger list of emoticons and I think there was a "current mood" type of feature, the board was organized differently too, and I think there were more forums. I used "MechaGigan" at the time, and I think the forum membership was much bigger, a lot of it probably holdover from the 1998 movie.

I ended up moving in 2002 and not having regular internet access for several months. In the midst of it all, I forgot to check back in and by the time I did remember (maybe following up on old bookmarks) I guess there was a forum migration to either new software or updated software and since I hadn't signed in for an extended period that account was one of the many winnowed ones.

I tried checking on Archive.org's Wayback machine, but the system only tracks the forums back to late 2003 which is essentially the current look. If I remembered the earlier URL I could probably see the earlier version of the forums. I'll have to check the older computer to see if I bookmarked the old address for the forums, I haven't migrated them over to my current computer.

I used to come here when it was Monster Zero News WAY back when GINO was in production. I lurked the forums for a while, then I think I joined around the time of GxMG.
