^Hell, if this keeps up I might abandon buying single issues of all my series and just get the trades - although I don't think I can give up Hellboy and Usagi Yojimbo (which, ironically, I buy the single issues of and then get the trades too).

I'm okay with it no matter what the miniseries turns out to be, but I can't help but wonder if the Godzilla mini is a proper film tie-in unlike the ongoing. IDW, licensed comics publisher extraordinaire, has certainly done it before.

Although in the span of one minute, I'm now doubting that due to the explicit Mothra name-drop.

^When the Legendary film is coming out I'm sure we'll have a tie-in mini to go along with it.

Hey guys, I posted the IDW interview episode last night:

http://kaijucast.com/2011/01/13/01-14-2 ... interview/

The only new info that I really gleaned in the interview was that there will be a mini-series along with the monthly series where other artists & writers will be able to contribute. Notable firsts are Geof Darrow (Big Guy & Rusty, Hard Boiled) and John Layman (Chew).
