I only have one or two issues - I don't even remember! - out of the total series. What I saw was definitely on the wackier side, but not a bad wacky. Like a toned-down Showa Gamera film. I wouldn't hate to see more of it.
Reminds me, should pick up the remaining issues one of these days.

I honestly can't see a reason why they would still have the rights. Hell, they didn't even do a complete run, just a mini series.
