I've been on a major role lately (Looks like I won't be kicking this addition anytime soon...my wallet bleeds like there's no tomorrow with these damn things). Some recent pick ups from the past 2 days:

Nothing really to say...captures the suit it's based on perfectly (even the brown color doesn't bug me that much) and its jaw isn't crooked either. :P :wink:


Marmit Monster Heaven Godzilla 55 Soshingeki-Goji

Never really had a big urge to own this figure. But after seeing it in person, it really captures the G55 suit look perfectly and my mind has been totally changed about this figure....in fact, I think it might be one of Marmit's most overlooked/underrated figures (just like the film it's from, so I guess it's only fitting). And unlike the Bandai 6 inch figure, its dorsal fins are attached correctly :P


Here is a group photo with my Gigabrain G64 and G65 figures (and Marmit MH Hedo-Goji):

All I need is GB G62, and Marmit MH G67 and G73-75, and my Showa Godzilla 8-10 inch scale will be nearly complete (not sure what G54 figure I will get...many have been made by numerous companies, and I've never cared for any of the G54 figures I've seen in 8 inch scale...anyone have any suggestions? :dunno: ).

I am no longer upset about Bandai not releasing their memorial box set in 8 inch scale...because I'm making my own "memorial box" rag tag collection 8-)

My first designer vinyl purchase that isn't Godzilla. It's also, i just realized, the only version of Anguirus '68 in my collection... & he's just darn perfect! I love the color scheme too. It's close enough to his on screen appearance, yet it still retains a toy-like quality that I really love about these "vintage-inspired" figures.
