TCM Halloween Starts Tonight

Ah, remember AMC's Monsterfest around 10 years ago? Wasn't that awesome? I just checked their schedule and they're extending Monsterfest to an almost two-week length! And guess what? Their programing blows. Seriously, who puts sh@#y Friday the 13th and Halloween sequels in prime-time slots and leaves the original Dracula and Frankenstein on Saturday morning the week before the holiday?

Thankfully the much cooler Turner Classic Movies has a totally awesome month of horror programing in store for us, headlined by Hammer Horror every Friday starting with Dracula movies tonight:

The Frankenstein movies on the 28th lead into a Halloween weekend with "Deadly Jealousy" movies on Saturday and "Haunted Houses" on Sunday (Halloween).

i ADORE tcm for what they do just on a regular basis and i want to frigging MARRY THEM for what they do around Halloween...

AMC infuriates me. They refuse to take it seriously and just play crappy Halloween sequels all the time...

nobody else does ANYTHING. Last year, I had to download Great Pumpkin just so I could give it my yearly watch because I couldn't find it ANYWHERE...

Sy-Fy should be ALL OVER Halloween, and all they do is play crappy episodes of their own crappy original programming...
