People who don't like subtitled, foreign films are not going to watch them, period! It doesn't matter how good their friends & family say the film is, it doesn't matter how many glowing reviews it gets, there are people out there who won't touch foreign cinema, just like there's some people who will adamantly avoid certain foods, like sushi for instance. People who are open to subtitles will make the effort to seek the original films out, whether they are remade or not. And I just realized that i've lost my train of thought, hahaha!
I still am open to seeing Let Me In, but based on what i've read here and what my friend who recently saw it told me, I think i'll wait to Netflix it. I actually got to watch Let The Right One in at the Castro Theatre last night as a double feature with Antichrist. There were quite a lot of people who showed up for Let The Right In as well.
