Puppet Master, Demonic Toys, and Full Moon Entertainment

I thought I'd start an appreciation thread for Charles Band's cheesy, but awesome movies over the past few decades (mostly in the 80s and 90s).

I just saw a bunch of his early films in the past few days and am quickly growing to love these things.

Puppet Master was original and awesome. Demonic Toys, though, may just get a slightly higher grade from me. As iconic as the puppets are, the humor in Demonic Toys just makes it a little more special to me.

And then we have Dollman.

If you haven't seen Dollman, get off your computer and stream it on Netflix...NOW! Brick Bardo is my hero. This movie is amazingly hilarious. AND IT STARS JACKIE EARL HALEY!

Here's a trailer for dollman (Warning: Profanity)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5y0WzayKjk8

I like a lot of Full Moon's films. "Cheap" as they might've been, there were many gems in their repertoire. Plus Full Moon was one of the last bastions of stop motion creature effects in the 1990s, mostly done by the late David Allen and most are really amazingly well done.

And yeah, they are still around sorta. Mostly of their old films.
