Destroy All Monsters-I love this movie!!! However, I watched it dubbed, and the dubbing was so bad it was hilarious!

My movie today was Survival of the Dead...which was sort of "meh" for me. Pretty dull for the most part....not as good as Diary of the Dead.

I watched C.H.U.D earlier this week it was my first time seeing it and was pretty decent 80s flick I'm tempted to track down the sequel. Was suprised to see two actors from Home Alone in it (Daniel Stern as Reverend and John Heard as George Cooper)

Saw The Social Network 4 out of 5.
It's Fincher, so the movie was incredibly well made. As a side effect, It's weird to use facebook after watching this film.

Recently watched It's A Wonderful World (1939), starring Claudette Colbert and James Stewart. It's a fun screwball comedy, well worth watching if you're a fan of screwball comedies; it's a bit different than most as it uses the classic American detective framework to build the story on.

The Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole-I kinda liked this movie. Saw it twice, once in 2D and then once again in 3D with me nephews, it was a good. Story was predictable and has been heard before, but it was still good. Marvelous animation that is for sure.

The Nightmare Before Christmas-Love this movie!!!!!!! I guess you could say I will start my Halloween movie fest with this one, even though its a tad bit late. Just rented The Howling and An American Werewolf in London, can't wait to pop in those puppies and have a HELL of a good time! :D

TCM was showing Scaramouche (1952) this morning (based on Rafael Sabatini's 1921 novel). Great story and the movie is fun to watch, I'm going to have to pick it up on home video one of these days -- it's out on DVD but I'm tempted to wait for a Blu-Ray release.

Hollywood seems to have a hard time adapting novels at the level it used too -- hopefully the upcoming adaptation of The Three Musketeers will prove a great change for the better.
