Currently my most valuable toys. Very cool.

These tags are so clean it hurts

BTW the King Ghidorah is the new one. This is the first time I've actually owned this sculpt, and it's instantly a favorite, a great toy of one of my all-time favorite kaiju.

God, isn't there an AA/Bett Ford clinic-type of help out there somewhere to help those who are addicted to collecting Godzilla figures??? :?: :!: I know I should be out studying Japanese, chasing Japanese tail, learning a martial art, going to a gym, enriching my mind, etc....but these damn things always pull me back into the abyss. Maybe it's because, as Bio_Goji_89 said, this hobby is just too cool.

Anyways, here are my latest pick ups (I always say "this will be my last figure for awhile"...only to get sucked back in again and again and again  )
Gigabrain Godzilla 65
Image

I always considered this figure the weakest of Gigabrain's figures...until I found this matte version...it literally looks like it just lept off the screen! I would kill to find the Gigabrain G64 (and G62) figures in this same Matte scheme

Marmit Monster Heaven Rodan (showa)

*VERY* underrated figure. Looks amazing in person, and is FAR SUPERIOR to Bandai's 8 inch showa Rodan which, while not a bad figure and is very accurate, was rather stiff and lifeless in comparison. This figure captures the charm and spirit of showa Rodan perfect and is full of life. It looks awesome next to Gigabrain's G65 Figure (it looks like they're getting ready to go kick King Ghidorah's ass  ! )

Marmit Monster Heaven Manda

Yet another Marmit MH figure I have been searching many years for...best damn Manda figure ever. Yeah, I know it's not the Showa Manda, and what I am about to say will anger GFW haters, but I always felt that the GFW Manda's design was just awesome.

Marmit Monster Heaven Millenium Goji 2010 Super Festival

Now normally when it comes to figures of the Big G himself, I am very strict/picky about its color scheme...but this figures color scheme is just a thing of beauty...I can't stop looking at it!

@ ebirahsmeg1
Your Showa Rodan is "smokin!" Great figure and it is superior to anything Bandai has out now. That Millennium Gojira is WICKED SWEET and a true work of figure art there.

While the Marmit G2K figure isn't my favorite, I still think it's far better than the Bandai toy and miles ahead of the Bandai Creation version everyone seems to be in love with. The Rodan is sweet too and I love the Manda despite not liking Final Wars.

My favorite Marmit G2K in particular is this one:

I've always wanted that Rodan :( it's on my very short list of MH figures I still need.

*sigh* The Addiction continues...

Image

I honestly have never had much interest in obtaining either one of these figures...truth be told, I was more than satisfied with Bandai's 8 inch MG 2003 (Sorry, I'm not referring to him as "Kiryu"...worst moniker ever...even worse than "Destroyah". He's MechaGodzilla damn it).

However, the gold battle damage figure is truly unique and offers a fresh perspective/different kind of figure, so I decided to pick it up for around $60...not a great deal (I've seen this figure many times for cheaper prices than this), but not too expensive either. It's without a doubt my favorite figure of this particular kaiju. As for the regular/standard MG 2003 figure, I had no interest in it...but the dealer said he would throw in it for only $20  For a brand new, unopened Marmit MH figure, that's a steal, so I that's why I picked him up too. Once I got him out of his bag, I warmed up a little to him... he's actually pretty cool...in fact, I'd say he's slightly better than Bandai's MG 2003 figure.

I am still totally bummed about about Gigabrain's Black or Black & Gold Mosu-Goji still illuding me (I spotted the GB Mosu-Goji figure this past weekend...but it was an awful sky blue/purple-ish variant.....DAMN IT! :x Talk about teasing...finding the black/black & gold variations of this figure has been so frustrating). But the battle damaged MG 2003 and super cheap standard MG 2003 figure were nice pick ups for the price I suppose...

If Marmit ever gets their act together and starts putting out decent figures again (ie gives us kaiju fans what we want to see, not more "Des-goji" figures or badly sculpted heisei G figures....I'm talking MH Gabara, Mogera, Orga, Godzillasaurus, G Jr, Space G redo, and more showa figures like Magma, the Gargantuas, Kamakuras, Kumonga, Manda, etc.), then I might be tempted to keep continuing on picking up as many Marmit MH/Marusan/Gigabrain figures as I can and eventually sell off most of my Bandai collection...

This King Ghidorah would be better if the wings weren't famous for breaking.
