I brought up the 2.0 point last night on their Facebook page. This is their reply today:

"The Japanese audio is in both Dolby 5.1 & DTS 5.1 HD - the English dub track is also in 5.1 Dolby Digital"

What say you now, Kain and Udin? :D

At least the case looks nice.

The Mill Creek facebook page said Japanese 5.1 DTS-HD, Japanese 5.1 Dolby Digital, and English 5.1 Dolby Digital.

I'm still trying to figure out the point of making a double feature set from a trilogy. Why not just do the movies either all together or individually?

I think TPC getting screwed over is a pretty big deal - it could easily prevent us from getting a legitimate, higher-quality release and by dealing with Chaiyo it meant that BCI would never have been able to release any further series. The second point is moot now that they've gone under but after their delicious Iron King and Red Baron releases, it's obvious they cared enough about the genre to release more obscure titles so I don't see them having any qualms in releasing something like Ultraman Ace.

Man, I hope someone like that comes along again.
