Gamera's First Blu-Ray in America

Millcreek Entertainment is bringing out two Gamera films to Blu-Ray...the Heisei phenomenons Guardian of the Universe and Attack of Legion. These films were heralded as a big improvement in big monster movies during the Heisei era and made even critics acclaim in America.

The price is great also at Amazon dot com. Just a little over $13 dollars. Though you may have other places you would like to purchase from, but I think it is great news to see some Blu-Ray treatment of kaiju films coming to America. I don't know what special features (if any) are on the disc, but do keep exploring via the internet.

So if anyone would like to see Gamera, or buy the films again, the disc will be available on October 12, 2010. I haven't seen anything so far regarding any Blu-Ray release of Revenge of Iris, but if I do, I will update the thread. If anyone else gets info on it, please feel free to update as well.
