I just don't get the people need to have special features and double dip any time a new version comes out. I only double dip if I feel like its truly worth it.
Now that I have a Blu-Ray player, there's only a couple movies I'll double dip for instead of replacing everything (I really think DVD standard def is just fine for home video viewing). For example, I'll get The Dark Knight so I can have the IMAX stuff the way its meant to be, I'll get Casino because I only have the old Full Screen DVD, and I'll get Let The Right One In for the accurate subtitles. I'll be getting the Grindhouse Blu-Ray for the never before seen extended versions of the fake trailers (and to have the fake trailers in general). And it'll just be nice to have the whole Grindhouse package the way I saw it in theaters (even though I still hate Death Proof).
THAT'S the kind of stuff I'll double dip for. I'm not gonna double dip just to have everything on blu-ray or just to get a couple extras I won't ever watch more than once. Maybe if there's something special on it like a full length doc like the American Werewolf release... but generally I just don't get how people have the time, shelf space, or money to double dip for every new version that comes out.
