I don't like it. No, I see nothing wrong with the movies, but I mean the way they are being released. Why release the first two movies on their own and then decide to screw up our collections by making the others double features??!! Not to mention that Zigra is then going to end up in his own package since that is the only movie left. Either way, my movies are going to look jacked up on the shelf.

it IS all about your collection, Kain, and how it affects you. so I am sure August will let Shout! know that you don't like it, and they will act accordingly.
and there is another movie after Zigra.

I'm just so happy to get good transfers of these movies!

I have the *other* domestically released dvd versions. As much as I want to, I can't watch them for any length. They just look that bad! I could watch the MGM Yongarry release again for as awful as that film is, it still looks great and I'm able to find something to like in the visuals especially when they do something right and even when they do something wrong.

When Gamera starts getting kid-centric, like he does in the later movies, I need more than just the story to keep watching. Anyway, just wanted to voice my enthusiasm for these upcoming releases.

I'm glad they're doing what they're doing... but my only complaint is that my english versions of the original Gamera and Barugon are going to remain the "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" looking versions.
