Unlike the first film, Piranha 3-DD (yes, that's the actual title... DD as in boobs) is going to shoot in 3-D instead of doing a conversion. So that's good news. I'm still not wild about the choice of director, but then again I wasn't a fan of Alex Aja and still ended up loving the first movie. I'm looking forward to this. I like all the Piranha movies, even Piranha 2. Hell, I even liked the Asylum's rip off, Mega Piranha. As long as its better and funnier than these clowns' Feast movies, I'll be on board.

I still wonder why Aja didn't come back. He said he had a great time on the first film and was all ready to do a sequel... maybe he and the Weinsteins were having disagreements (honestly, would that surprise anybody?)

Piranha 3DD currently has a theatrical release date of September 16, 2011. I'm still disheartened that Aja isn't coming back to direct, and Nicotero isn't coming back to do the effects, but I remain hopeful.

By water park I mean something like Michigan Adventure not a lake water park like what was featured in Piranha. Piranha 3DD takes place in a water park like Michigan Adventure sorry for non Michigan residents I don't know of any national water parks.
