I watched this movie for the first time since having it from way back in July. I've just been really busy. It's a great movie, very colourful at times too. The soundtrack was great, and the characters were actually quite interesting, sometimes more interesting than the monsters themselves.
The only weird thing to me is Gamera's absence from most of the film... it seemed they drew out the many strategies as much as they could before Gamera got back into it again.
