I don't remember seeing these anywhere. I got them from someone of Flickr named WoGzilla. This is what his description said:

"great detail I was told by a good friend in the movie biz. that this was one of the design's they were considering for the new 3D Godzila....! if you have new info on this movie, i would like to post it . thanks "

Huh. The face is a little too narrow and pointy for my liking, but otherwise that looks kinda neat. It'd be easier to judge if there was more than just a head and neck, of course.

If this were, hypothetically, the way he looked in the new film, I would not argue much. It looks pretty badass. Personally I'd make the neck a bit shorted, face a bit more bulky, and of course hopefully he'd have pupils.

His snout is to narrow. It would still be a hella design!!!!

It looks to me like they were going for more of a dragon look and in that respect, it works great, I think. The narrow snout, the long neck, it all looks like that was the intention.

That Godzilla bust looks vaguely familiar. Like something obscure that's shown up before (a Japanese garage kit or something, perhaps) and that someone's dredged up now for their 300 seconds of fame.
