the only thing i would add to armand's memo to legendary pictures is:
* make sure godzilla himself gets a LOT of screen time!

If I remember correctly, didn't Warner Bros. handle the US distribution of Godzilla 1985? I believe I remember seeing the WB logo at the beginning credits. Not that it's important to anything.
Can I just offer one plea...let's not destroy New York again. I do like and want to see a downtown leveled..(L.A. is nice and sticks up in a nice cluster of buildings) but also I do want to see suburbs trampled as well.
Vegas could be interesting (that would be a Banno connection...I do even like the idea of San Diego getting smashed because you have several military bases nearby that could be deployed quickly and a nice size bay....
San Fran was always possible with the large bay and landmark areas to flatten....
But my vote is for.....El Centro!!!! After seeing "The Monster That Challenged The World" that is a great location...LOL
