You Only Live Twice by Ian Fleming

Funny how the last Bond book I have to read is the one set in Japan. :)

Wow, I've not been on the boards in a while.

Currently reading When You Were a Tadpole and I Was a Fish by Martin Gardner.

Lately I've also read:
The Great Influenza by John M. Barry

The CIA Manual of Trickery and Deception by John Mulholland

The Saga of Solomon Kane by Robert E. Howard (Well..moreso by about a dozen different comic book writers, but based on Howard's work.)

^It had a really great idea but as a book it was merely good. It was originally intended for younger audiences so it's more of a novella and I didn't feel it had enough detail.

I'll have to check the movie out because everyone says it's absolutely terrific, could be case of the adaptation being superior.

The Crass Menagerie by Stephan Pastis. More "Pearls Before Swine" strips, with plenty of jabs at "Family Circus" and other lame comic strips.

Started The Third Chimpanzee by Jared Diamond today. I've also been reading Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos by H.P. Lovecraft and others.

On Al Sharpton: "The next time you feel the need to protest, do so dressed as an elk in Ted Nugent's backyard."

Read the currently out of print Usagi Yojimbo Book 11: Seasons (a branch of the public library on the other side of town had it) and my amazon.com order of books 12-13 just came, so I'm about to crack open Book 12: Grasscutter!

As always it is written, penciled, incked, and lettered by Stan Sakai (this guy puts out 10 issues of this comic a year! He's a machine!).
