The Wolf Man Special Edition DVD

Postby Tom R VanSlambrouck » Mon Feb 08, 2010 2:59 am

To cash in on The Wolf Man remake Universal released a sort of like the Dracula and Frankenstein Anniversary Series.

I was wondering if anyone picked it up yet and if so would it be worth it to double dip? I have the already and I can get this for $10 since I have reward zone points at BB.

The best bang for your buck is still the Legacy box that has the Wolf Man and three other classic Universal werewolf flicks in it. They also put out editions of Frankenstein, Dracula and the Mummy like this and I still haven't replaced any of my Legacy sets. The new art and special features for these are pretty and all, but I don't think its worth the double dip. Its not like the new special features are that amazing since information on these movies is pretty easy to find in the original commentaries or online. Its a better deal to just get the rest of the Uni werewolf flicks for the same price. It just depends... do you want even MORE features than the already packed Legacy sets, or would you rather have the rest of the movies in the series?

I'd hang on to the Legacy set if I were you.
