Ebay sickens me. Prices for everything seem to be skyrocketing almost daily. Is anyone actually buying this stuff?

Price includes shipping and unless this guy has a great discount with an international shipper I'd say shipping alone could cost him upward of $700 (probably closer to $1000) since he's not shipping it cargo but as air freight. Sure it's gonna weigh nothing but it's big and that means its big box being put inside an even bigger box resulting in the carrier charging for dimensional weight for the item. Let's say he has a great shipping discount then it would probably cost him around $350. I suspect his discount isn't that good but I could be wrong.

$2980 is at least $2500 more than I would pay for it, but it is a cool item.
