Why are people so sensitive on these boards? I never said he owes me an explanation, others did. I simply asked what happen with the Legendary Pictures negotiations with Toho. If you have a contact at LP, Iâ€™m sure theyâ€™d say itâ€™s done or itâ€™s not going to happen. Sheesh

Yeah and I've seen other credible people on other boards resort to childish behavior like creating "rumors" and what have you...

The people who feel as if Bluehair owes us anything do so out of respect for him actually because he does seem like a decent person and this all seems very very odd and out of place...notice very few have resorted to personal attacks on him...we just want answers and we would have never sought answers if he had not first brought up his original proclamation...so now that we are left with questions about something we didn't seek to find I do think it's only fair and respectful amongst our community of fans that something is said even if it isnt all that concrete...or admit this was just a guess or wishful thinking and let it go (which i dont think it is)....

Either way both sides are really in tough spots...bluehair might not be able to say anything for privacy reasons and so he's stuck and on behalf of the fans cynisism and "mob mentality" will eventually grab ahold of most of us when it begins to feel as if we have been led on...it's a human reaction and while it's not exactly admirable it is human....

Godzilla's American problem is that the general public over here hasn't seen any of the films past 1975, so when you mention Godzilla, Americans immediately think of the giant monster that was saving little kids and flying on his tail. People associate Godzilla with either the 70s films or Emmerich's 1998 film.

Aside from the hacked up version of The Return of Godzilla, none of the Heisei or Millennium films got theatrical releases stateside, so the general public only has bad memories of the latter Showa era films that were basically comedies, aside from Terror of Mechagodzilla.
